Get answers to common questions about Lip Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free results for three to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and hormones. Regular waxing can slow regrowth. Avoid exfoliating immediately and follow aftercare to maximize longevity.

You may feel a quick sting, but sessions are brief and discomfort subsides rapidly. Skilled technicians use proper tension and wax to reduce pain. Numbing creams can be discussed if you’re especially sensitive.

If you have sensitive skin or rosacea, consult with our technician beforehand. We can perform a patch test, use gentler waxes and tailored techniques to minimize inflammation and ensure a safer, more comfortable experience.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and roughly 5–7 mm of hair growth. Avoid exfoliating 24–48 hours prior, and skip retinoids or harsh treatments a few days before waxing. This preparation helps reduce discomfort and improves waxing effectiveness.

Aftercare includes avoiding heat, heavy makeup and direct sun for 24 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended balm, gently exfoliate after 48 hours, and keep the area clean to prevent ingrown hairs.

Every client’s cycle differs, but scheduling Lip Waxing every three to six weeks maintains smoothness and prevents coarse regrowth. Our team can recommend a personalized routine based on hair speed and desired results.
